Goren Festival 2020

July 3rd-5th 2020 – Go wild in the meadows!

Wildlife - Wildflowers - Wild Music

Dear Friends It is with great sadness that we can now confirm the inevitable decision to cancel the 2020 Goren Festival. The present and proposed future restrictions for us all have made the situation completely untenable. All bookings will be refunded within the next 14 days. We had a truly fantastic line-up of stands, vendors, exhibitors and entertainers booked for this year and have now invited them to join us in 2021. We will let you know just as soon as we have the dates decided for next year and very much hope you will join us for a bumper event in the wildflower meadows then. However, the new farm shop and off licence selling our local ciders and some seasonal produce will be open from 30th May and there will also be the opportunity to visit the meadows (for exercise only for now) and enjoy some social distancing within specific picnic areas. In the meantime we hope you, our lovely, loyal festival goers, and all your loved ones stay safe and well during these exceptionally difficult times. With best wishes to you all The Festival Team

Live Performances

With the addition of a second stage, there is always some musical entertainment to be found. All of our acts will contribute to the inclusive culture of the event, not only in their performances, but during workshops and fireside sessions. In addition to the stages, there will be cosy and intimate spaces created for everyone to play (and listen) to music together. We would really welcome musicians of all levels to come to the festival and get involved in these sessions.

Plenty for the kids too...

Sound garden, circus skills, science experiments, leaf flag making and forest school; pottery, archery, Bumblebee safaris, bat walks and butterfly spotting. Nature Zone with expert led wildlife stands to inspire and educate.

Family camping in the orchard field is secure for children and close to the evening's events. Gates to the Family Camping and main Camping Area will open between 3pm and 8pm on Friday 3rd July and between 7am and 8pm on Saturday. Separate fields for Campervans and car parking. Toilet facilities available. Site to be vacated on Sunday 5th July by 3pm. Booking essential and online only.

Love food?

We'll have a tasty line up of affordable street food for you, including wood fired pizzas, hand-reared pork baps, a juice bar and even a chocolate fountain! There will be a range of produce, a choice of menu and prices to suit all pockets.
